Social media for barbers who want the chair full, not the feed pretty.

Social media for barbers is the easiest content job there is and the most badly done. You produce a visible transformation every twenty minutes. Almost nobody films it properly. We do.

What social media for barbers should look like

The work is already visual. It just needs filming and cutting properly.

The transformation

Before, the cut, the reveal. Filmed at the same angle every time so the shop develops a look people recognise.

Technique close-ups

Fades, line-ups and scissor work shot tight. Other barbers share it, which is how a shop account travels beyond its town.

The shop itself

Music, banter, the queue on a Saturday. People choose a barber on atmosphere as much as skill.

Walk-in availability

A story every morning showing what is free today. The single most direct booking driver a shop has.

Product and retail

Pomades, clippers and beard care shown being used, not photographed on a shelf.

Paid promotion

A small local budget behind your best cut of the month, tightly targeted. Cheap and remarkably effective.

Why most barbershop accounts stall

Almost every shop account we look at is a grid of finished cuts photographed under bad lighting, posted whenever someone remembers.

The finished cut is the least interesting part. The transformation is the story, and a still photograph throws it away. Short video of the change happening does several times the numbers of the same cut as a photo, every single time.

The other issue is consistency. A shop that posts four times in one week and then nothing for a month trains the algorithm to ignore it. Steady beats brilliant.

Single-chair barbers

Building a personal following that follows you if you ever move shop. The face matters more than the branding.

Multi-chair shops

Each barber gets their own content so clients can request by name. It also keeps good barbers from leaving.

Grooming and beard specialists

Narrower niche, faster growth, because the content finally sounds specific to somebody.

Salons and hairdressers

A different audience and a different edit, which we handle separately.

The Last Heist — feature film

A full feature film produced end to end, script to screen. The same team and the same kit that shoots your day-to-day content.

Filming in a shop without slowing the shop down

The objection is always the same and it is a fair one. You cannot stop cutting to make content.

You do not have to. A phone on a small tripod in a fixed spot, switched on for three cuts a day, produces more usable footage in a week than most shops post in a quarter. We take the card and do everything after that.

  • One fixed camera position so every video matches the last
  • Client permission agreed before anything is filmed
  • Before and after framed identically, or the change does not read
  • Captions burned in, since the shop music never survives a repost
  • Cut for Reels, TikTok and Shorts from one filming session
  • Posted at the times your bookings actually get made

What you get with social media for barbers each month

Written down before we start, so there is never a conversation about what was supposed to happen.

An agreed volume

A set number of posts and videos every month, listed in writing. Not a vague promise to keep the account active.

Everything edited in-house

Filming, editing, captions, thumbnails and scheduling all done by the same team, so nothing gets outsourced to somebody you never speak to.

Approval before anything posts

You see the month ahead and sign it off. Nothing goes out that you have not read.

A monthly number

Reach, views and enquiries. If it is not working we say so, rather than reformatting the chart until it looks better.

Plans for social media for barbers start at £799 a month and go up depending on how much gets made and how many platforms you want covered. Websites start at £999, and paid advertising is priced on spend. We quote after a proper conversation rather than off a menu, because a sole trader and a ten-person firm genuinely need different things.

Everything runs month to month. There is no minimum term on social media for barbers, no setup fee and no notice period buried in a clause. If it stops being worth the money you tell us and it stops, which is a large part of why our clients stay.

How it works

  • We have a proper conversation first. What you sell, who buys it, what you have already tried and what it cost you.
  • We agree what gets made each month. How many posts, how many videos, which platforms. In writing, so there is no vagueness later.
  • You film on your phone, or we come and film. Either works. Most clients end up filming themselves after the first month.
  • We edit, write and schedule everything. You approve it, then we post it.
  • You get the numbers every month. Reach, views and enquiries, rather than a vanity report full of charts.

Questions we get asked

Do I have to talk on camera?

No. Barbershop content is one of the few areas that works completely fine with no talking at all. The cut, the music and good captions carry it. Talking helps if you want to build a personal following, but it is not required.

My clients do not want to be filmed. Is that a problem?

Not really. Plenty of the best barbershop content never shows a face, because the interesting part is the back and sides. We agree what is off limits before anything gets filmed.

Do I need a good camera?

No. A recent phone on a cheap tripod is genuinely enough for this. The lighting in most shops is already good, because it has to be for the work.

Will this actually fill quiet days?

Stories showing same-day availability do, quickly. Growing an audience takes longer and is the part that keeps the shop full a year from now. We do both, and we are honest about which one is working.

How much does it cost?

Social media plans start at £799 a month, and websites start at £999. Ads are priced on spend. However, we quote after a conversation rather than off a menu, because a sole trader and a ten-person firm need very different things.

Am I tied into a long contract?

No. Retainers run month to month. If it is not working, you tell us and it stops.

How quickly will I see anything?

Content goes live in the first fortnight. Social growth usually shows within weeks. Search rankings take months, though, and anyone promising otherwise is selling you something.
