Social media for roofers built from the jobs you already do.

We run social media for roofers who would rather be on a roof than on their phone. We film the strip, the felt, the tiles and the finish, then cut it into content that brings the next job in.

Social media for roofers — roofing job progress filmed by Eleven G Media

What social media for roofers actually involves

Roofing is one of the most watchable trades there is. It is simply never filmed properly.

Strip and re-roof timelapses

A full re-roof compressed into forty seconds is genuinely satisfying to watch, and it demonstrates scale instantly.

Drone footage

Roofs are the one trade where an aerial shot is not a gimmick. It shows the finish in a way ground photos never can.

Storm and leak repairs

Urgent, seasonal and highly shareable. This content lands exactly when local homeowners start worrying.

Bad workmanship finds

The previous roofer’s shortcuts, explained calmly. Corrections travel further than compliments.

Google Business Profile

Kept fed with recent job photos, because roofing enquiries very often start on the map rather than the website.

Paid ads in storm season

Why roofing content performs

Roofing has two things most trades would love. It is visually dramatic, and the customer is usually frightened.

A homeowner with a leak is not shopping around for fun. They want somebody who looks competent and available, and video answers both questions faster than a quote ever will.

On top of that, roofing work is seasonal. Consequently a steady flow of content through the quiet months keeps you first in mind when the weather turns.

Domestic re-roofs

The bread and butter. Timelapses and finished shots do most of the selling.

Flat roofing and GRP

A finish people genuinely do not understand. Explainer content converts unusually well here.

Commercial and industrial

Larger contracts where scale and safety standards need demonstrating rather than claiming.

Roofline and guttering

Smaller, quicker jobs that fill gaps in the diary and film very easily.

The Last Heist — feature film

A full feature film produced end to end, script to screen. The same team and the same kit that shoots your day-to-day content.

Filming roofing safely and legally

Roof filming has obvious constraints, and we work inside them rather than around them.

We film from the ground, from scaffold where it is already in place and safe, and by drone where the airspace allows it. Nobody climbs anything to get a shot.

  • Filmed from ground level, existing scaffold or by drone only
  • No one goes on a roof for the sake of a camera angle
  • Timelapse rigs set up in the morning and collected at the end of the day
  • Captions burned in, since most of it is watched on mute
  • Every clip cut for Reels, TikTok and Shorts from one visit
  • Weather-led content planned ahead of the season, not after it

How it works

  • We have a proper conversation first. What you sell, who buys it, what you have already tried and what it cost you.
  • We agree what gets made each month. How many posts, how many videos, which platforms. In writing, so there is no vagueness later.
  • You film on your phone, or we come and film. Either works. Most clients end up filming themselves after the first month.
  • We edit, write and schedule everything. You approve it, then we post it.
  • You get the numbers every month. Reach, views and enquiries, rather than a vanity report full of charts.

Questions we get asked

Do you use a drone?

Where the site and the airspace allow it, yes. Aerial footage shows a finished roof far better than anything from ground level.

Do you need to go on the roof?

No. We film from the ground, from scaffold that is already up and safe, or by drone. Nobody climbs anything for a shot.

Can you use footage my lads already take?

Yes, and most clients send some. We will tell you exactly what to film so the clips actually cut together into something usable.

Roofing is seasonal. Should I only post in winter?

No, the opposite. Posting through the quiet months is what puts you first in mind when the storms arrive and everybody starts searching at once.

How much does it cost?

Social media plans start at £799 a month, and websites start at £999. Ads are priced on spend. However, we quote after a conversation rather than off a menu, because a sole trader and a ten-person firm need very different things.

Am I tied into a long contract?

No. Retainers run month to month. If it is not working, you tell us and it stops.

How quickly will I see anything?

Content goes live in the first fortnight. Social growth usually shows within weeks. Search rankings take months, though, and anyone promising otherwise is selling you something.

Want the roofs you finish to sell the next one?

Tell us what work you want more of. We will tell you what we would film and what it would cost.
