Send us a track Need the song written too?
The problem

It is not your song. It is the mix.

You have written something good, recorded it at home, and it still sounds thin, muddy and quiet next to everything else in the playlist. That gap is almost never talent — it is level, balance, tuning, timing and tonal decisions that take a trained pair of ears and treated speakers to hear.

1

Vocals buried or harsh

Too quiet in the chorus, too loud in the verse, sibilance stabbing your ears, and no space around them. Fixed with proper level automation, de-essing and considered reverb.

2

Muddy low end

Kick, bass and low guitars all fighting over the same frequencies, so the whole thing turns to soup on a car stereo. Fixed with carving, sidechain and honest high-passing.

3

Quiet next to real records

Uploaded to Spotify and it sounds half the volume of everything else. Fixed at the mastering stage, at the loudness the platforms actually want.

What you get

Everything delivered, not just one file.

Full mix

Gain staging, EQ, compression, saturation, de-essing, vocal tuning and timing, reverbs and delays, panning and full automation.

Streaming master

Mastered to suit Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Amazon and Tidal, so your track is not turned down or squashed on upload.

Louder video master

A separate, hotter master for adverts, reels and YouTube where the playback is not loudness-normalised.

Instrumental, clean and a cappella

Delivered as standard so you are ready for live shows, sync, radio edits and social clips.

24-bit WAV and MP3

Both formats, correctly named, ready to send straight to your distributor.

Revisions

Recalls are included. Nobody nails a mix first time and we are not going to pretend otherwise.

How to send it

Get your session ready in five minutes.

1

Export stems

One WAV per track, all starting at bar one, same sample rate, no master-bus processing, headroom left on each.

2

Send references

Two or three commercial records you want it to sit beside. This tells us more than any adjective can.

3

Add notes

Tell us the bits you love and the bits that bother you. A voice note is fine.

4

Approve and release

You get the mix, you send notes, we recall. Then it is mastered and delivered ready for your distributor.

Questions

Mixing and mastering, answered.

What is the difference between mixing and mastering?

Mixing is balancing all the individual tracks against each other — levels, EQ, effects, automation. Mastering is the final polish on the finished stereo mix, setting the tone and loudness so it holds up beside commercial records on every system.

Can you master a track I mixed myself?

Yes. Send a stereo mix with a few dB of headroom and no limiter on the master bus, and we will master it. If the mix has problems we cannot fix at that stage, we will tell you honestly before taking the job.

What if I only have a stereo bounce, not stems?

Send it anyway. There is a lot we can still do, and we will be straight with you about what cannot be changed once everything is glued together.

How loud will my master be?

Loud enough to compete, not so loud it gets turned down. We master for the streaming platforms rather than chasing a number, and supply a separate hotter version for video where nothing is normalised.

Do you tune vocals?

Yes, tuning and timing are part of the mix. We can keep it natural or push it into the obvious tuned sound if that is the style you are after — just tell us which.

How many revisions do I get?

Recalls are included. We keep going until it is right, within reason and within the brief we agreed.

What does mixing and mastering cost?

It depends on track count, condition of the recordings and how many versions you need. Send the session over and you will get a fixed price before any work starts.

Send the stems. Hear the difference.

Upload what you have got, send two reference tracks, and we will come back with a fixed price and a date.
