Social media for hair salons that fills the columns.

We run social media for hair salons and barbers who want a full appointment book, not a pretty grid. Transformations, stylist personalities and the kind of reels that make somebody book on a Sunday night.

Social media for hair salons — salon transformation reel by Eleven G Media

What social media for hair salons should include

You already create transformations daily. They just need filming properly.

Transformation reels

Before, middle and after, lit consistently and cut tightly. This is the single strongest thing a salon can post.

Stylist spotlights

Clients book a person, not a premises. Giving each stylist a face and a personality fills their column first.

Colour and technique

Balayage, colour correction and extensions, explained simply. These posts reach people already searching for the service.

Client reactions

The chair-spin moment. Genuine reactions convert better than any professionally shot campaign.

Offers and quiet days

Targeted content aimed at your slowest days, rather than blanket discounting that trains clients to wait.

Google and bookings

Profile, photos and booking links kept current, because most salon searches happen on a map.

Why salons do so well on social

Hair is the most visual service there is, and the result changes in under two hours. Consequently the content practically makes itself.

The problem is never material. It is that filming and editing properly is a second job on top of a full column, so it slips to whenever somebody remembers.

A regular, well-lit, well-edited feed does something a discount never will. It makes people want that specific result from that specific stylist.

Hair salons

Colour, cuts and transformations. The core content, and the highest converting.

Barbers

Fast, satisfying and endlessly repeatable. Barber content performs exceptionally on TikTok.

TikTok management ›

Beauty and aesthetics

Treatments where before and after content does the selling, provided consent is handled properly.

Salon groups

One brand look across sites, with each location keeping its own stylists visible.

Content we make for clients

Real accounts we film, edit and post for every week.

Dubai Giant — luxury property

Weekly reels, off-plan walkthroughs and market updates for a luxury Dubai broker. Filmed, edited, captioned and posted by us. Followers up 184.8% in 90 days.

Waterlooville Builders — trade

Weekly job-progress videos filmed on site, edited and captioned, then posted across their channels. We are on their jobs most weeks.

A YouTube channel built from nothing

We built, managed and grew a client YouTube channel to 7,000+ subscribers across 212 videos. Every thumbnail, title and edit was ours.

The Last Heist — feature film

A full feature film produced end to end, script to screen. The same team and the same kit that shoots your day-to-day content.

Getting salon content right

Most salon feeds fail on lighting and consistency rather than on ideas.

If the before is shot under warm lights and the after under a window, the transformation looks fake. Matching them is unglamorous work, but it is the difference between a post people trust and one they scroll past.

  • Before and after filmed in matching light, so the result is believable
  • Client permission taken before anything is filmed or posted
  • Each stylist featured regularly, not just the owner
  • Captions burned in, because most of it is watched on mute
  • Cut for Reels, TikTok and Shorts from one filming session
  • Booking link and location worked into every caption

How it works

  • We have a proper conversation first. What you sell, who buys it, what you have already tried and what it cost you.
  • We agree what gets made each month. How many posts, how many videos, which platforms. In writing, so there is no vagueness later.
  • You film on your phone, or we come and film. Either works. Most clients end up filming themselves after the first month.
  • We edit, write and schedule everything. You approve it, then we post it.
  • You get the numbers every month. Reach, views and enquiries, rather than a vanity report full of charts.

Questions we get asked

Do you film in the salon during opening hours?

Yes, usually. We work around your columns and film real appointments, because staged shoots never look as good as genuine reactions.

Do the stylists need to talk to camera?

Not necessarily. Plenty of the strongest content is hands, technique and the result. That said, stylists who do speak on camera tend to get booked out first.

How often should a salon post?

Three to five times a week works well, mixing reels with stories. We film once or twice a month to cover it, rather than asking you to film daily.

Will this actually fill quiet days?

It can, provided the content is aimed at them deliberately. Posting a midweek-specific offer to an audience that already knows your stylists works far better than a blanket discount.

How much does it cost?

Social media plans start at £799 a month, and websites start at £999. Ads are priced on spend. However, we quote after a conversation rather than off a menu, because a sole trader and a ten-person firm need very different things.

Am I tied into a long contract?

No. Retainers run month to month. If it is not working, you tell us and it stops.

How quickly will I see anything?

Content goes live in the first fortnight. Social growth usually shows within weeks. Search rankings take months, though, and anyone promising otherwise is selling you something.

Want a fuller column?

Tell us which days are quiet and which services you want more of. We will tell you what we would film.
